Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Program Fees
Program tuition, payment schedules, due dates, accepted payment methods, and any applicable EMI arrangements will be communicated during admissions and confirmed before payment.
Students are responsible for reviewing the applicable fee, payment, refund, and enrollment terms before making payment.
2. Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee is payable after an applicant is offered admission and chooses to proceed with enrollment. The registration fee is separate from and additional to program tuition. No fee is charged to attend the Free Career Webinar, submit an application, or participate in the Admissions Consultation.
3. Cancellation Before the Program Start Date
If a student cancels enrollment before the scheduled start date of the applicable batch, program tuition paid directly to BFG Tax Academy will be refundable. The registration fee remains non-refundable for a student-initiated cancellation before the program begins.
4. Withdrawal After the Program Begins
Once the applicable batch has commenced, program tuition is non-refundable in the event of a student-initiated cancellation, withdrawal, or non-attendance, subject to applicable law and any exceptional accommodation approved by BFG Tax Academy.
Failure to attend classes, complete assignments, participate in training, or use available program resources does not by itself create eligibility for a tuition refund.
5. One-Time Batch Transfer
A student who is unable to continue with or attend the applicable batch may request a one-time transfer to another available batch commencing within 12 months of the original batch start date.
A batch transfer is subject to availability, approval by BFG Tax Academy, and applicable academic and
administrative requirements. A transfer does not entitle the student to a tuition refund.
Only one batch transfer is permitted unless BFG Tax Academy approves an exception due to extraordinary circumstances.
6. Academy-Initiated Cancellation
If BFG Tax Academy cancels a program or batch before its scheduled start date, affected students may choose either:
(a) Transfer all amounts paid to another available batch; or
(b) Receive a refund of all amounts paid directly to BFG Tax Academy for the canceled program, including the registration fee.
7. Schedule Changes and Rescheduling
Changes to class dates, timings, faculty availability, delivery format, or other operational arrangements do not automatically constitute a program cancellation.
Where material schedule changes occur, BFG Tax Academy will communicate the revised details to enrolled students.
Any refund, transfer, or other accommodation arising from a material schedule change will be handled in
accordance with the applicable policy and enrollment terms.
8. Scholarships
Students receiving a scholarship are still required to pay the non-refundable registration fee.
A scholarship awarded by BFG Tax Academy is a one-time benefit applicable to the program and batch for which it is awarded. If the student cancels or withdraws from the program, the scholarship benefit is not transferable to another student.
Where BFG Tax Academy approves a one-time batch transfer, the treatment of any scholarship previously awarded will be determined according to the applicable scholarship terms and the circumstances of the approved transfer.
9. EMI and Third-Party Payment Arrangements
Where program fees are paid through a third-party EMI or financing provider, cancellation, transfer, and refund processing may also be subject to the provider’s terms and conditions.
Students may remain responsible for charges, interest, processing fees, or other amounts imposed by the provider unless otherwise stated by that provider.
BFG Tax Academy does not control third-party financing terms. Where a refund is approved, the method of refund may depend on the financing arrangement and the requirements of the applicable provider.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 10 business days after approval of the completed refund request. Actual receipt of funds may depend on the original payment method, banking timelines, or third-party payment or financing providers.
11. How to Request a Cancellation, Withdrawal, Transfer, or Refund
All cancellation, withdrawal, batch-transfer, and refund requests must be submitted in writing through the designated BFG Tax Academy Admissions & Student Support contact method.
Students should provide any information or documentation reasonably requested by the Admissions & Student Support or Finance team to process the request.
12. Policy Changes
BFG Tax Academy may update this policy from time to time to reflect approved changes in program, payment, legal, or operational terms.
The version applicable to a student’s enrollment should be communicated or made available at the appropriate stage. For enrolled students, applicable refund and cancellation rights will be governed by the policy and enrollment terms applicable to that student’s intake, subject to applicable law.
This policy should be read together with the applicable enrollment agreement, scholarship terms, and any third-party EMI or financing terms.
